So I decided to move to WordPress. After some thinking, I realized that I don’t want to have to spend hours and hours tweaking my blog, especially because that would require learning some PHP and how to use databases. I’m all for learning things, but I just don’t know that it’s worth the time. The amount of effort required to build and maintain a totally novel blog is probably worth more than $10 a year in man hours, and by quite a bit. So, I gave in.
I uploaded all of my old livejournal posts, so everything that predates this entry is from there. It’s kind of fun to see what I was thinking a year and longer ago, especially knowing that I’ll always find my younger selves to be a little silly.
